College is one of many ways to learn and grow as a person, but it is not the only way. If for whatever reason you are not going to be in college this upcoming semester/quarter/term, know that the same God who provided a way for you to gain the education to get to this point is the same God that is going to provide for you in whatever opportunities this next season brings.
God isn't going to forget to make provisions for you. He isn't going to forget to put the people in your life that are meant to be there. He isn't going to close doors that are meant to be open. It can be hard to accept this at times because we often feel that we have a pretty good idea of what we need, when we need it and how we want it, bit God always has an even better idea, and it's better than our very best.
When it comes to the kind of people you’re around on a daily basis, of course you don’t always have total and absolute control over who you are around. However, you do have absolute control over how you to choose to respond and react. Perhaps you’re working at a job or you’re in a position where you’re constantly around people who have allowed negativity to plague their lives. Maybe you’re around people who don’t know Jesus or have a completely different set of moral standards from you. Perhaps you’re best friends with this person.
